I absolutely love wedding. Everything about them fills me with joy, good food, time with family and ABBA songs being blasted late into the night. I was flower girl at my aunties wedding when I was 6 and maid of honour at my mams wedding when I was 13 but there the only wedding I’ve ever been invited too.
Cosmopolitan wrote an article about this season’s best wedding guests dresses and honestly ever since then I’ve been planning the perfect outfit for a wedding I’m not even invited too. I’ll probably end up buying one of them in hope I’m invited to a wedding one day.
I think this dress is so cute. For a wedding I’d probably go with cute and princess like rather than mature and grown up. I’m only 19 so I can still deffo get away with this. The dress is described as “Look Pretty in Pink in this gorgeous Midi Dress- featuring a demure 3D floral design, open back, midi tulle skirt and concealed zip fastening. “I always love an open back on a dress and the 3D floral design brings a spring/summer vibe. The dress is from ChiChi London and is £68, I haven’t purchased anything from there before however I love all there dresses.
Similar colour to the first dress, I guess I just love pink blush at the minute. I like this one because I think midi dresses always look really classy and being 5ft 3 I can’t always pull off a maxi dress, especially if I’m not wearing heels. This dress is described as “Your ‘e officially invited to the after party in this lacy little number! Ensure all eyes are on you this weekend in this dusty pink dress, courtesy of PLT. This lust worthy piece features long lace sleeves and has a body hugging fit, perfect for flaunting those curves. Style with nude heels and a box clutch and let the dress do the talking.” To be honest I think this is a pretty good description and 100% makes me want to buy the dress. I absolutely love lace at the minute and doesn’t go out of style, meaning this would be a perfect dress for all year-round weddings as well as other formal events. This dress is from PLT and is £35.
My third and final favorite wedding guest dress is from Quiz Clothing. It is described as “This cute dress features a beautiful floral print. In a frill bodycon design, wear with heels and additional jewellery for a cute party look.” For my body, bodycon dresses flatter me the most, so this dress would be perfect. I think the colour and the design and perfect for a wedding and it would be really easy to pair with some great wedding accessories. At £26.99 this dress is the cheapest and to be honest probably my favorite. You can find the dress here.
If your anything like me, you’ll want to find the perfect shoes and bag to go with your outfit. Colour co-ordination to me is very important and something that makes me really happy when my full outfit matches.
