Getting your life in order.

July 23, 2018

Sometimes it is easy enough to think your life is a bit chaotic. To be honest, a lot of the time your life is going to be chaotic. If you’re someone who feels pretty chilled out all the time, you’re a lucky person that’s for sure. But getting on the right path so you can feel a little more relaxed is sometimes easier said than done. There’s often so many different areas of your life that are just crazy, you don’t know which one to focus on. So far 2018 hasn’t been the best year for me at all and at times I’ve really struggled. But with 5 months to go, I’m determined to turn things around. After all, this is the last year I’m going to be a teenager so I want to make the most of it before I find myself on free dating sites.Well, this article is here to help you pinpoint some of the key areas that need to be changed, and how you can change them.

Finances

This is one of the main areas which people struggle with. Finances can cause you more stress than anything else in life, especially if you’re in a spot of debt. If you are, there’s really nothing to be embarrassed about. Nearly half of the population is in some form of debt. It can also be pretty tricky to get out of. The main thing is being strict with yourself. Staying in, only spending what you need to, and putting the rest of your money onto the debt. Another thing that can affect you massively is bad credit, especially when you’re going to buy a house or even just rent. It can even affect things like getting a new phone contract. So learning how to repair your credit before it is too late is important. One of the quickest ways to bring up a bad credit rating is by getting a credit card, but don’t get carried away with them. Just use it to buy your fuel, or your weekly shop, then pay it off again when you’re paid. It’ll bring your credit score up so fast.

Work

To get yourself on the right path with work, you first need to realise whether you’re truly happy at the place you’re at. A lot of people are going to say no to this. Work can easily grind you down if you’re not happy. So take that leap and go find the career that you’ve always wanted to do. It shouldn’t be too hard to do, and if you need a little extra training, there’s plenty out there for you. It could save you the hassle of being stuck in a job you really do hate for years and years. I personally really like my job. I finished my GCSE’s and came straight to this company. At only 19 I’ve already been working for 2 years at a professional digital marketing agency. It’s weird to think, compared to my friends, I have my life a little bit more together because of this job, I even have a pension!

Social Life

It doesn’t matter how old you are, you should always be looking to have an active social life. It helps to relieve the stresses of the other areas in your life. Nothing beats sitting down with your favourite girls for some food or a few drinks. Me and my friends spend a lot of our time around the local pubs, there is nothing better than waking up after a night out and face timing the girls to find out what’s happened, always drama! But as life is so busy, it can often be hard to find the time to do so.I’ve been best friends with a girl called Sophie, we met when we were 2 years old at dance class. Although she only lives 15 minutes away, we find it hard to fit each other in. However, we can go months without seeing each other and I guarantee that when I do see her it’s like I saw her yesterday, I think these are the best type of friendships. Try and arrange a meet up every two weeks, or every week, to get that social life burning. It shouldn’t be too hard to arrange a date further in advance. You can often unload any worries you have to friends as well, it’ll sort of be like a therapy session! For everyone who’s a little bit older, there’s plenty of dating websites like match me happy.
